Hi i looked at a AEG L62800 washing machine today which had a blown module. I checked all the usual suspects but the rest of the machine seems ok. I am a bit nervous about ordering a new module without knowing what blew the old one, i know the interlocks often cause trouble does anything else cause this? thanks for any help :lesson:

Blown module… which part? … Where wires go?… at least show one picture… anything 220V related can cause that… (motor, door lock, pumps, valves…)

Hi the pump seems ok there is continuity through it and no visual signs that it has gone, whenever i have seen pumps cause damage they normally have visual signs but maybe i am making a silly assumption there? I wish my camera phone was working i would have taken a pic, sorry Baron i can’t tell u more. Thanks for the advice guys :salute:

Your better using a Mega than a continuity tester with a fault like that…. ❗ Although a mega is probably useless with an askol/plasset pump. Great for motors and heater elements though.
