    TV630? Is that a Hoover?

Why did you replace the heater? Was the old one faulty?

OOPS ! Sorry, yes it is a Hoover TV630. The dryer ran, but no heat at all. My son’s electrician freind tested the heater unit and told me it was faulty. I replaced the unit, and it worked ok. Only to find that after one cycle, the clothes were still damp. I re-ran the same cycle again to find the clothes spot on once complete. Could it be a faulty thermostat ?

It’s possible I suppose but unlikely as a new stat comes as part of the heater assembly, unless it got damaged in fitting??

Thanks Dave. If the stat was faulty it would be relaying false information ? Shall I order a new one ? Cheers
