    i have read various articles on the forums regarding hotpoint dishwashers.
    this one will not go the lights come on as if its going to start working but it just doesnt go.

    i decided it must be the small pcb behind the bezel part no C00143206.

    fitted a new one and it did exactly the same tried all reset procedures no joy.

    i tested the water valve, the heater, the door switch, the wiring, the motor, all tested ok.

    i checked the float again ok.
    i activated the float switch ti hopefully make the pump go on again no joy,
    tested pump again ok.

    any ideas greatfully received, thanks in advance.

    oh and just to make things worse put it all back together old board back on it started to work for a couple of seconds then stopped again and wouldnt go again

    i got it from washvac sorry wolsley they said it was the right part

    i spoke to partcenter today who told me dwf40p has 2 different pcbs
    C00143206 if it is ROHS and C00097890 if it is non ROHS,
    i asked what ROHS meant they didnt know and neither do i.
    i would not like to order the other pcb to try it and have it not work has anybody got any ideas what ROHS means and can anyone help me out with any ideas of what could be faulty,

    DWF40P Pcb is C00143026

    DWF40P.2 Pcb before serial number 40505.000 is C00097890 (pre rohs)

    DWF40P.2 Pcb After serial number 40505.001 is C00109875 ( post rohs)

    ROHS ????

    ROHS is only to identify electrical and electronic parts that pass the WEE directive by removing contaminating materials, the earlier part will fit okay.
