ParticipantHi. I’m looking for a thermostat for a dryer that has been imported from Germany in 1987
Rating plate details…
Model 3005CD
typ ZTW0026
ORDER NO 001171-8
Sr no 72205906It’s branded “Privelig” but is an AEG in a skirt.
There are two 150C stats in series with the heater, I am looking for the one on the left hand side (looking towards the heater). The terminals need to be straight so as not to foul the heater cover.
I’ve got a photo of the stats if needed.
Anyhelp will be much appreciated.

it’s the stat on the left. A model number for a UK machine with the same stat layout would probably be all I need.

Regarding your pm, I didn’t find too much info because from your data is giving different model. For ex.: “typ ZTW0026” is giving info for one tumble dryer from Zanker (also Zannusi/Aeg) but not condenser one. 😯 Only thermostat I have found is 79’C-NC-ELTH ( part 56471200602) Aeg. 😉
But you can read temperature detail from thermostat (if isn’t burned), it is written there all you need. ❓
Please tell me what thermostat is that from right side (what temperature). I suppose that is around 120-150’C. 8)

The stat on the left is the one that is burnt out. It does have some readable information, but I can only make out NC 150C 16A which I presume to be 150 degrees Normally closed and 16 Amp switching. The other stat appears to have the same writing. The left hand stat (the burnt out one) is a cycling stat with a solid body.
The Right hand one is several centimeters further from the element and appears to be a one shot stat. (you can see the convex bi-metalic plate).

The photo on Connect site for 56471200602 looks like the tags are at 90degrees which would foul the heater cover. If it’s the right temperature, I can make it fit though.
