Belling Cooker 626

    There are two 1.2 kw hob elements that work, but am unable to ajust heat, I am sure the energy regulators are faulty, but because the elements have limiters fitted, ( I have little knowledgen of these) can these also cause the same fault.

    Nope, replace the simmerstats, common fault on these 😉

    Dave, does this mean complete element !!!or cant I buy simmer stats.

    If the limiter has failed it’s a complete hotplate required yes 🙁

    if the elements are glowing red no matter where you put the knob then the simmerstat is faulty

    the simmerstat is behind the knob i am sure dave can come up with a part number if you want two
