Diplomat Intergrated Dishwasher Leak

I’ve just moved into a new house with a Diplomat Dishwasher in the kitchen. I’m not sure of the model but it’s 4 years old. Anyway there is a leak from the bottom of the machine at the front. I’ve felt underneath and there is a hole there that seems to meant to be there from which the leak is coming. It only leaks during a wash and not sure if it’s related but there is also about a pint of water which is left in the filter area after a wash, which seems to be directly above the hole. Any ideas how to stop the leak?
