My Baumatic BDW8 is playing up (again – *heavy sigh*) and I need a helping hand with one critical piece of info.

I’ve drained the machine and believe I’ve now fixed the original problem (the drain was blocked), however I haven’t been able to reset the machine to start running a cycle to test this. It was in mid cycle when the fault occurred – I turned it off, emptied the machine and cleared the blockage. Closing the door the machine has drained off the remaining water, but a few seconds after it drains I get the warning beeps and the 4 lights on the left hand side of the control panel flashing in unison. I think the system is expecting to drain more water.

I recall from previous adventures with the Baumatic that I need to reset the machine using a combination of the control buttons, but after an hour of experimenting with different combinations I can’t for the life of me remember what they are. Can anyone give me a nudge as to what the correct combination is?

I’ve searched the forum, and if this has been answered before I haven’t been able to find the right entry.

Have you checked that the tray under the machine has not flooded? No fill fault can be brought up by flood protection being activated.

I have no recollection of a reset procedure appropriate to these machines.

Power off before leaning the machine back.
