Hi there,
i have a creda tc622cw sensor excel tumble dryer. it seems to have developed a fault where it cant be turned on because the active/empty water light is red constantly eventhough there is no water in the water container. i have turned it off and on to no avail. i have cleaned the condensor aswell. ofcourse the water container is empty.

the valve behind the water tank has probably broken, or the float switch is jammed
just hope its the first one.. easy to check .. with the power off.. look on the back of the water tank, you will see a valve.. on the machine side is a very similar valve.. one of them may be broke.. if not, get someone in to change the float switch
