ParticipantDiplomat (854500215820 Whirlpool) integrated dishwasher.
F7 fault on the delay timer display. Machine stops. (works perfectly when I’m there 😈 )
The known fault codes say ‘valve or inlet problems’. The valve is OK and the water supply is good; no water in the drip tray. Drains quickly and the wash motor is running perfectly. Heats OK. I’ve even swapped the PCB with a known working s/hand one. 😈
Now, before I try my 2lb lump hammer on it, any ideas? Thanks,
Steve.

Flow meter failure. Removing l/h panel, giving the contacts a clean and a squeeze will often cure it.

Is that on the side of the airbox at the bottom? 😕 If so, what ‘flow’ can it check?

It’s a whirly thing on the fill matrix on the left hand side. The pulses generated help tell the computer how much water is in the machine. They suffer from oxidisation on the little PCB and edge connector – a good clean usually sorts it.

Didn’t work, I’m afraid – do these flow meters fail? Are they available separately? Machine started perfectly and ran for 40 mins then ‘beep beep’ F7!!! I’ve just binned one of these ADP8332’s early last week – only scrapped as the outlet hose from the wash pump was holed and the customer wouldn’t pay for a motor. Everything else was known working!!! 😈
Ain’t it always the way…….. :rolls:
Any other ideas as I’m starting to hyperventilate!!!!!Steve.

Unfortunately no 😥 They come complete with the water matrix p/no 481241868147, around the £50 mark.
