Have been to look at this d/w and found that when you switch off on the main on-off switch the light stayes on and machine carries on working.
If you do this whilst filling the wash pump stays on but the valve shuts off.
Cust complaining of it sticking on rinse.
Was late in day so am going back later in week
Any one come across this fault or have any ideas?
    Thanks
    Dan

Not come across anything like that, only had to change the awful door spring mechanism on a couple. I could be wrong but I think it is a Smeg.

long shot but check for a earthed heater or stuck pressure switch contacts. Its a Fagor by the way.

Thanks Mark, I do remember now, DC told me that a while back when I first ordered the metal strips for the door springs, memory not what it was. 😥
