    Hi,

I don’t think it’s completing it’s cycle as there is about an inch and a half of water left in the bottom of the machine. There is a motor noise but it just seems to be humming and getting and getting that warm smell.

I haven’t got the serial number cos It was 2 in the morning when I found the problem and couldn’t be bothered to take the machine out. It is the basic model with just 1 rotary switch (“off” is at centre and there are 2 other settings on either side) There is also a low rinse aid indicator. 👿

    Hi
It sounds as if your drain pump is jammed with something or faulty.
Inspect with power off of course :plug:
Full model number is imperative as stated at the top of this forum. 🙂

    Thanks Greg,

I’ll see if I can get the model number and let you know what it is.

Generally is it easy enough to get to the pump or is it a take the whole thing to pieces job?

    Hi
Thanks for email with model, SGS43C12GB.
The pump is easy to gain access to on these.
Power off and appliance empty of water and dishes 😉
Place appliance on its back and gain entry from underneath.
