    Bosch SGV43A03GB/46 Dishwasher

    Complaint not emptying. Checked drain pump, not blocked and works ok on a separate feed. Checking further ended up at the module, the linear IC chip near the processor has blown. Has anybody had this fault before, is it caused by the dispenser solenoid.

    Module part No. 4888432, type AKO49819

    Tried machine on a rinse programme, worked OK, would not empty. No flashing lights for fault.

    Module 488432 has a part change to 492685 – £76.30 inc VAT.
    Not had that fault personally though 🙂

    I’ve had a similar failure, although the complaint was that whilst the machine drained it wouldn’t fill? Customer also reported that whilst the previous wash went through as normal, the dispenser failed to open!

    I replaced both the module & dispenser solenoid. Perhaps you could ask your customer as to whether the dispenser actually opened on a previous wash?
