    Hi Guys,

    Customer phoned up to say that the machine has intermitent fault,the mcahine starts taking water in and it starts draining at the same time.The waste pipe is at correct height.It goes on and on until you turn it off.

    It is 9 years old washer dryer with the chunkey timer at the front.

    Is it better to take to take a pressure switch if there is no partial blockage

    Merloni washer dryer – flood protection level jammed on at p/sw or dodgy timer.

    First thing to do is to meggar the machine. Bet you have either a trapped wire or an earthy heater…

    short circuit coil on fill valve it took me a while to find this one. you remember the bad ones……

    I don’t remember ever having a short circuit coil on a fill vave.

    Something new evert day.
