    Hi everyone,
    would appreciate any help on this one…….it is a bosch fridge freezer single compressor.
    The compressor fired up and stayed running for ten to fifteen minutes before stopping and cant get it to start again, there is another odd fault in that if you close the door switch, the light kind of just goes dim and does not switch off completely.
    If I bang the top of machine the light flickers suggesting maybe a dry joint, but I can’t find a dry joint. Would appreciate any comments before I just buy a new board.

    Hi
    Numerous posts on here re NTC bypass.
    The lamp will stay dimly lit if the ambient temp of the room is too low in order for the fridge to cycle and thus prevent the freezer from thawing.
