I have a strange fault on a HTPT double oven model 6192 (aprox 12 years old) when the bottom oven (large oven) gets to 200 degrees is starts to trip the main RCD 80A 30mA.

Once the RCD is reset you can turn the thermostate up/down switching the heater on and off and it does not seem to trip but after a few minutes it will trip again.

I have placed a mains suppressor 0.1uf across the mains input to the appliance, because thats all I had in my toolbox , this had no effect.

    Any ideas please.

    Thanks
