    hi all,
forgive me for being stupid but i am struggling on a bearing change on the above washer dryer.
i have undone the bearing carrier bolts and freeed this slighty but do you remove the drum from the front or the back of the machine, i have looked at the back of the machine and it is sealed with a glue just checking before i go for it. i have done thousands of bearing chanfes on zanussi and hotpoints etc but never a whirlpool.
any info would be great thx

    Front panel will come off…….

Why do you want the drum out for a bearing change?

    hi chris,
the bearing arent badly gone but i have tryed everything to release the carrier from the drum shaft at the back ie big bar the lot,
so only way i think will be to give it room for a big bash from the back, any ideas gratfully recieved thx

You have dropped the motor and blower motor housing? Been doing quite a few of these recently and the carrier usually pops off no bother…..

There are some 7mm nut heads along the bottom of the front panel, and a couple of screws at the top – control panel needs to be released for access; if you do need to go in through the front.

    hi chris,
yes i have removed the blower housing and dropped the motor, also removed all relevant nuts and bolts. also taken the front panel off just looked at the front wieght and relized that to take the front off the tub i will have to remove the drum as the brackets for the wieght also suspend the tub, its no big deal just wanted to make sure that there wasnt a short cut,me being lazy i suppose any cheers for the advise.
