Hi, the dishwasher “empty” pump appears to continuously run. With all sides off I can see the unit fills and empties ok but because the pump is always running it never fills up and starts a cycle. Can anyone tell me where the signal to “stop emptying” comes from…anything I can check please? Thanks

    Hi Steve
It sounds like a module fault IMHO, without physically checking, it would have to a guess 🙂

Thanks for the quick reply Greg 🙂 . (Sorry very green to this..what does IMHO mean). I have had the front panel off and the only control PCB I can find is all solid state, ie no relays or anything to stick. Does it have a float or sensor anywhere to say when it’s filled with enough water (or does it work on timing set up by the chip on the control pcb)? Thanks

    Hi Steve
IMHO = In my honest opinion 😉
The module is in two halves, the power board has 3 relays IIRC (If I remember correctly)
The drain pump does have a drive off one of them 😉

Un plug appliance if you are to investigate yourself :plug:

Thanks Greg (I thought it was something technical 😳 ) I have the sides off and it’s unplugged. Are the modules on the bottom right hand side? looks like there’s a sealed plastic block with leads going to it. behind a terminal strip(IGI -I’m going In!)
