Went to this machine last week, not emptying, drain pump was firing on & off rapidly.
Went for the usual suspect and found dispenser solenoid O/C it was also distorted so had obviously burned out internally.
Fitted new dispenser, ran on Prewash and all seemed OK.
Customer has just rung to say that drawer is not releasing tablet, could the burnt out solenoid have damaged the module? 😕

Almost certainly Jim. Often blows triac so flap either opens as soon as it is powered up and coil stays energised melting some of the linkage of the dispenser. and that is almost certainly what happened to your old dispenser. (and maybe the new one too :rolls: Post the correct model number and I will see if I can do one cheap for you tommorrow.
