    Hi
    Our SMEG DWF 614 sf dishwasher is showing error code E8 (problem on water distribution to baskets)

    does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this code ??

    the dishwasher is coming up to four years old

    any advice appreciated

    Motorised alternator valve has failed – this alternately diverts water to the top and bottom rotors. P/no is 819130468, spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to price it up and order for you.

    Power off if you plan to do this yourself.
