Just moved into a house with a Baumatic BT82.1GL cooker hood. One of the removable filter plates is stuck (broken latch) and more seriously the switch module appears dead (think previous owner got water in it or something because it failed with sparks on first use).
Any tips on getting the thing apart to investigate please? In particular should I remove from the wall or work upside down? Is it easy to remove the switch module or should I pay 80GBP+parts for a call out?
New switch module is apparently 51GBP.
