KeymasterWent to this machine earlier in week, customer said went bang so checked PCB and usual door interlock taken facia board out. Had board repaired and replaced interlock…..but appliance just tumbles and doesn’t spin? checked/changed p/switch……NTC & heater check out…motor wiring etc…but cant get this thing to spin…….also cant find problem with wiring…tried different motor……absolutely ready to take mallet to it!!!!!!am I missing something simple here?
Could board be faulty even after repair?
Not likely I would have thought! 😳Any Ideas before I go mad!!!!

Hi Col, might seem daft to ask but have you run it through the test programme [see error codes etc]? Also is there a load in the m/c ie big towel on it’s own? Could be it carn’t balance the said load! Hope it helps if not i’m sure somebody on this site will put you on the right track!

Hi Chris I appreciate any help offered thanks…but Ive done last error code check and that comes up as on off on on which isnt listed…….I didnt think wet test worked on this model …but please put me right if im wrong…..
Have you had problems with boards that have been repaired?
its not a course of action I usually take as always fit new boards
but am taking the environmental approach these days!!!!Any more ideas?

Also forgot to mention tried with either no load or full load….this machine has a “one” button that has also been both on and off….Im assuming its some sort of override for undalanced small loads……but anyway getting no flashing end led to indicate unbalanced load…..

check wires to board from p/sw and heater if you get these on wrong you’ll lose spin. if I remember right its shrouded terminal goes closest to side of machine.

Has rights…
The two wires from p/sw and heater can be switch themselves without problem… If is in wrong position it just not spin…. nothing else happen wrong. Put them back…
