    I recently bought the following Neff oven/hob package 2nd hand:-

    Oven B1430N0GB/02 FD 7905
    Hob T1161N0EU/01 FD 7902

    The lamp in the oven has blown, but everything else still worked fine for a while.
    Nothing has worked since I had to isolate the MCB for the cooker, as I have had do do some work around the incoming supply to put up a hood. I doubt I have disturbed this supply as the temperature indicator on the oven comes on when I turn on the cooker switch (wall mounted). It goes out when the oven or grill is selected though, but not when I turn the temperature dial. The clock shows no signs of life.

    Could this be a safety mode?

    Since it was all working ok until you disturbed the feed to put a hood up, it makes logical sense that its a power feed problem, ie loose connection, incorrect wiring.
    Check feed with power removed, tracing it back and checking for secure wire fixing :zap:

    Took the cooker socket cover off, checked the feed & all was well.
    Put cover back on & hey presto, it worked!! 😕
