ParticipantWe have moved into a house with it. The model is SGI3002GB/08.
Other appliances works fine (large fridge with refrigerator and washing machine). This one makes circuit breaker cut power every time you wash on 1 or 2. If you use 3 then it will be fine 9 times out of 10.
Circuit breaker is huge – 64A. We dont have any special electric load on it. It holds wall mains outlets.
I tried to swith everything and it was still breaking…
Other circuit breakers triggered few times in last months (mostly when some bulb was fused)…
Is it problem of dishwasher or house wiring (weak earthing ?) ?
Thank you

Almost certainly the dishwasher, it needs checking out with the correct electrical test equipment. Many possible causes from heater to motor, wiring harness to controls, examination is the only way to isolate the fault.

Thanks a lot Jim.
Is there fast and cheap method to just find out if it is dishwasher or not rather than try to isolate particular cause inside it.
I mean – it seems to me – cheaper to buy a dishwasher (some ebay deal?) than to have it fixed. I live in outer London (Harrow) and tradesmen here are quite expensive…

Just unplug it and don’t use it for a week, 😉 Bosch equipment is quite decent, and a good local independent, properly repairing your machine and giving you a guarantee on his/her work would almost certainly be a better option than buying something of unknown provenance on EBay.
There are lots of brand new machines on the market at around £200/£250 that may not last as long as your machine, buy second hand and your chances of a decent machine are greatly reduced.
Why not check the link below to see if we have someone in your area.
