The above machine flashes stop and although the door is closed, the machine thinks its open.
Have fitted another door lock to test and it makes no differrence.
I suspect the fault may be in the programmer……….can anybody help?.
I had this on a WI12 washing machine recently; don’t know if it’s the same door interlock. I took the lock off, operated it by hand and the machine worked. I put it back and it still worked, so I never found out what was wrong. I’m expecting a call back but it hasn’t come yet!
There was a problem with the lock which was solved by opening the screw holes to the right, allowing the lock to sit over to the left slightly. Apparently new locks are now adjusted…..

Chris.
If you file the holes out in the lock won’t there be a problem with the screws not tightening up or the lock just finding its own seating in the aperture which may not be correct?
