From the Partfinder drawing it looks like it comes as part of the Harness Mains Filter which is part no : 1604536…..not certain though????

Looks more like 1604648 to me, comes complete with mains cable & moulded plug. The 1604536 is the harness from PCB to mains filter.

Sorry lads been busy for a change and almost missed it. it was for a customer who came into the shop, he said that when he disconnected the plug from the ouput side of the supressor the the rcd on his consumer unit was still tripping. havent heard from him since so i assume hes a happy chappy.

ok, well if you ever get one of these out in the field, the molded plugs are causing probs, overheats inside shorts & trips out, if you disconnect the output it will still test live-earth short, cut off the plug & its gone, just need a new plug fitting!, saves ordering a supressor/lead assy

    Re: WF630

Good grief, what goes around comes around. When Hotpoint first introduced moulded plugs in the very early 70’s they had exactly the same fault. There was a press supported recall and we had to go round changing plugs for all new appliances in the customers home. That wasn’t too bad but unfortunately in my area there was a main warehouse for a mail order company who insisted that we went along and removed the suspect plugs from all the company products in stock. I spent several days removing Morphy Richards irons, Hotpoint kettles etc from boxes and cutting off the plugs. Thankfully they didn’t want us to refit new plugs but after a couple of days my fingers were red raw from pushing into the boxes to draw out the contents. 😥

its not a big problem like back then, i only see maybe 1 in 2 months, but can catch you out & think you need the whole lead/suppressor which usually means another trip
