    After replacing the door latch of my Hoover 1300 – with the help of this fantastic site – I now have a new problem, we wash everything at 40 but it’s shrinking all our jumpers/tops even though they state 40 on the label, any ideas..

    Either you have switched the hot and cold hoses at the back or there is a thermostat/thermistor fault?

    Do give us the Model number?
