    Hi

    I wish I’d come here earlier as I’ve just paid double the money for a belt that UK Whitegoods has in stock for £7.53!

    Anyway my problem is I’ve fitted the belt over the big drum and around the plastic rollers near the drive shaft. How do you get the belt over the drive shaft?

    The drum has to be removed before lifting the motor/fan unit and placing the belt onto the shaft, then reassembling….OK?

    A local engineer can do it for you if you like?…click on link below 😉
