    My hotpoint df23 is filling and heating water but the spray arms do not operate at all, this machine is older than 5 years, I have checked for blockage on the spray arms, all ok, can someone tell me the problem, is it the recirculating pump?? regards.

    If it makes a humming noise when it should be circulating then it is almost certain that your main circulation motor has failed. Not over expensive, around £65 to £70 + vat.
