    i have been called out to an indesit wil133 which is brand new
    they switched it on without removing the transit packing or cutting the end off the drain fitting under the sink
    when switched on now the start light and rinse light flash
    does anyone know how to reset the machine please

    from memory (scary)
    i think its just a case of holding start buttons in for 5 secs,
    or put timer selector to reset

    no i tried button in for 5 secs + it doesn`t have a reset position

    Its definitely press and hold start button until all lights flash. 🙂

    You should look again at “fault” lights. I put “..” because it isn’t an error fault. it show that you have selected (or is in ) rinse phase and hasn’t closed (bloked) door.

    Try again: open and closed back door and keep start button just one second pushed.
