    Hello all.

    Wondering if anyone can help.

    We have a Baumatic B187SS-B Single Electric Oven. We bought it from new and its been fine for about 2.5 years until tonight…. :rolls:

    I wasn’t doing anything particularly unusual, the oven was on about 220C for about 10 mins then a lot of flashing from the oven light then powered down completely. I’ve checked the fuse but the oven still refuses to switch on.

    There is also some sort of strange residue or dust all over the inside of the oven that I haven’t noticed before.

    The Oven should be under parts warranty for 5 years so I will just have to pay labour but does anyone have any experience with warranty work from Baumatic?

    Appreciate any advise.

    Fan oven element has expoded. Straight forward enough repair, although the Baumatic spares situation can best be described as erratic.
