Ok may be a little vague this one.

a customer/aquaintance has a leisure range give or take 8 years old and needs a new switch for the hotplate.
He has searched all over the range and cannot find the code/serial number.
So we sent down another repair man as we didn’t want to get involved and he says it needs a t150 whereas the one we were sent by a spares supplier is a hygena part with more tags on the back.

    so question is :
does anybody have a great knowledge of leisure ranges from 8 years back and know the code of the switches used or if there is a universal switch (hygena style) where the wires go.

    thanks John

Has he checked inside the right hand warming drawer, the model number is the first four numbers from the serial number ?

    The three simmerstats generally are:

P094839 – P025625 – P097311 but these are serial number dependent and modifications have been done.

The easiest way if he can’t find the model etc is to get the ego number from the old one 50.???? etc 🙂

    Dave.
