got a problem with w/m trips my main rcd when water comes into w/m.
can’t see any leaks onto any wires, however it is leaking somewhere. door locked light will come on then it will fill some water then trip. if the water is’nt drained then every time you switch w/m on it trips straight away, however i drained it and started again and it did fill some water then tripped. thinking maybe water inlet relay knackered or that leak is leaking on to something it shouldnt be, ie live wire of some sort.

    thank in advance 😀

The water inlet relays ❓ are actually inlet valves, they are very unlikely to be at fault. If you have a leak then that is the first thing to be checked out, the door seal is a common cause, it can then leak into the door lock, onto the heater etc, all of which will trip the rcd.

A complete check of all components with a suitable meter for earth leaks and a visual check for leaks is the only way to go.

Please be sure to remove the plug before you have a look.

Yup, check inner drum for play and centrality. Noisey on spin?
