Hi,
I have a Bosch wm model WFO2864GB/01. It’s about 5years old, and is used almost every day.
Twice recently a problem has shown up where the drum motor stops working so during the wash cyle and spin cycles, the motor does not rotate the drum. Each time I’ve taken the motor out, looked at it and put it back. Then it works fine again for few weeks.
Is it likely to be the motor brushes sticking or something like that ?
Thanks
Tony
have you put new brushes in ? if so they can sometimes be a bit tight its a good idea to try sliding them into the holders if they dont go in smoothly the file the edge down a bit until the fit properly.
if you havent changed the brushes it would be a good idea to do so.

I haven’t yet. I wondered if they were likely to be worn.
The brushes sold on this site seem to be just brushes not the holders too. Do you just carefully bend out the tabs holding the brushes into the holder and replace the brush/spring assembly ?
