    Hi all
been to one of these d/w today.
fills ok but then there is a fast sounding whir like the motor is running with no impellor & no water flow at all. but looking at the diagrams there is a seporator valve. If this was faulty would this totaly block the flow of water or just stick with just the top or bottom spay arm.
The wher continues as if it thinks it is washing. when you advance it on it pumps out ok.
I have no fault codes that I can tell, but I must admit I didn’t no they existed so I might not have noticed them.
Cant get it out today due to plug wedeged behind gas cooker, so her husband is going to pull cooker forward abit for my recall tomorow.
Also what is the fan motor for and could it be that I can hear?

Any help would be great 😀

    Ta

Probably the circ pump, Paul – the impellors do shear off. Diverter valve failure generates a fault code. Pump housing and seal is p/no 690070529. The blower fan is for assisted drying at the end, so certainly shouldn’t run during the wash cycle.
