Hi, my fridge has stopped being cold, the light inside is still working. I have checked the settings and all is ok . Can you give an appraisel of what could be wrong please.
Thermostat or PCB, possibly the compressor most likely one of the two depending on what machine it is. I don’t have access to the tech stuff at home to go much further.
Thanks for your input K, the only moving part that seem accesable is at the front left it is a smallish grey unit with a fan on the back of it, is this the compressor or the thermostat?
Compressor and it’s sealed, you have to test them electrically. In fact you’d have to test electrically in any event to see what the problem is, basically you’re looking for a circuit made in the thermostat to drive the compressor.
Conventional fridge with ice box. Compressor is at the back not accessable without being removed from the cabinet. Thermostat is most likely and accessable from within unit.
