    We have inherited a Diplomatic ADP8322 dishwasher with this house and the lower part of the door gasket appears to have “bulged). No evidence of a leak, but it looks as if it may need reseating. Any advice regarding obtaining the gasket,how to install it would be much appreciated

    Lower seal is p/no 4812 466 68467, about a tenner plus the usual gubbins. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for ordering.

    I confess that I have never needed to fit one in 15 years, so exactly how you do it, I don’t know. The decor panel and door outer will have to go to give you access.

    Power off, of course and be very careful of the stainless steel edges – you can shave with them.
