ParticipantI am trying to register online for the free 2 year guarantee and the form is asking for my serial number.
Can some kind person tell me which 10 digit code I should enter?
The plate on the back shows this.

Hi
There is no need to register to qualify for the 2 year free parts and labour cover.
It is automatically given providing you can show a valid receipt to the engineer.
The only reason they want you to register is that Domestic and General Insurance can obtain your details for future use.Greg

Receive the benefit of an extra 12 months guarantee absolutely FREE
Your appliance automatically comes with a 12 month full manufacturer’s guarantee which covers all labour, materials or carriage costs (subject to terms and conditions), however, if you register your Bosch appliance, you’ll receive the second year’s manufacturers guarantee absolutely FREE.The above is from Bosch website 😕
Probably safer to register , pity about the junk mail you’ll probably get :rolls:.Bryan

Hi
You would never be refused your second year guarantee with a valid receipt and thats from the horses mouth as it were 😉
As for the 10 digit seriel number, they are usually 5-6 IIRC

GregI think I will play safe and register, however I am still not sure what the serial number is. The printed form on the back of the “register Now booklet” from D&G has 10 blank spaces.

Hi
Its probably a 1 fits all registration booklet.
If you open the door of your apppliance, on the inner you will be presented with WAE24162UK/1 FD8703 123456 the latter being your seriel number.Hope that helps, but as Bryan said you probably end up with junk mail and contact by them for cover after the 2 years has elapsed 👿

Thanks Greg, I have only 5 digits in that place. So that’s what I registered.
