Hi, I really hope someone can help. Everything has been going wrong this week, so hope someone can give me a break.
I have an Indesit IDL530 Dishwasher, freestanding.
Its been working great, but no cleaning fantastically lately. The yesterday it stops working.
At first the warning lights came on to say the filter was blocked so i cleaned it and that stopped but the same symptoms existed, just the warning lights no longer came on.
The dishwasher seems to start, proceed through the intial part of it’s cycle. Its sounds as if the pump starts, but the dishwasher doesn’t fill. A small amount of water might trickle in but w’re only talking perhaps half an inch of water at best. Then it just keeps on pumping and pumping, with short breals in between.
I know it heats because i opened the door and the element was red hot and steam came out.
The washer arms do not rotate but i’m guessing that its because there’s no pressure from the water coming in.
Ive been told it *could* be the solenoid, but does anyone else have any suggestions?
