    Hi, can anyone help please.

    Smeg Dishwasher UKSTX1-1

    The machine is totally dead. Traced supply (live and neutral) to circuit board. On/Off Switch and door switch are fine.

    The machine is totally dead, no lights, no hum… nothing. The transformer on the module looks like it might have been getting warm but no other visible clues anywhere.

    Do the board fail on these machines? and are they prone to failure due to other components? The dispenser coil seems ok but I know these can sometimes cause module failure.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Bob, if you have got 240v to the transformer on the board then it is the board thats duff. Not a common failure on these but sometimes the customers leave them switched on always and the transformer will eventually cry enough.
