    This one has the no.3 green neon flashing on the temp setting, but has no other signs of life. Cust complained of funny noise, did a defrost, restarted, and all worked… for a few days. Now its dead. No compressor action, no fan, etc.
    Any idea what the no. 3 neon flashing means please? Thanks.

    This model has got 3 buttons then a display and then 3 more buttons. Any fault is in the display ie FR

    Simon – If I remember right there is two versions of this euro-combi range. One has a digital display the other a selection of leds indicating temperature. If your fault is with the centre led its a freezer sensor fault.

    Hi

    have you tried to turn the appliance off then back on ?

    If it restarts then the fault will lie in the defrost area,heater,overload,sensor.

    The board also can go faulty which will just make the appliance dead with no compressor/fan action. but confirm first that your not geting feed to the compressor.

    Many thanks for replies. This model has the green LEDs indicating temp. with no display. Have tried turning off and on but still dead apart from the green middle (no. 3) LED flashing. No sign of power to compressor. Board or sensor, wot d’ya reckon? :rolls:

    Have tried a board and still have flashing no. 3 led and appliance dead 😕
    Just looking on connections for freezer sensor but not clear which one of the three listed is correct… Please could someone help with the right part no.?

    change the cover evaporator in freezer, baffle motor sticks (this is where strange noise is coming from).lights flashing is also a symptom of this..

    Hi

    If the evap cover was faulty then the 4 neons would flash.

    If its showing the 3rd then its displaying that the freezer or air temp sensor is faulty.dependant on which side you are reading from,its showing that one of the sensors are faulty.

    Best option would be to change both.
