Hi hope you can help.
We brought this integrated slimline dishwasher when we installed our new kitchen and it’s been in for about 5 months now. We’ve already had an engineer out from Curry’s once because it kept tripping the electricity off everytime we opened the door but then surprise surprise it didn’t do it when the man came and hasn’t done it since!
Now the salt and rinse aid indicator came on a few days ago which means none of the controls will work and it just beeps when the door is open. I’ve filled them both up and left it like the book said as the salt needs to dissolve a bit but it’s been 4 days now and still that indicator light is on and the control frozen.
We’re now stuck on whether to phone and wait for a Curry’s man again or to try and fix it ourselves or just to bail out and buy another one?

How to break this to you gently……… You’ve got a Chinese Haier dishwasher with a badge stuck on the front. For £180, it’s far too cheap to expect any sort of quality. Just for fun, type “haier” into the search facility on this forum only and see what you get. Scary reading…….
