    Hi. can anyone help with this one . When you switch the machine on the rinse hold light flashers fast, you can select a program and the on light comes when you press start but the machine wont start and the rinse hold light continues to flash. I have tried turning the program selector to finish. Any ideas anyone.

    Basically the fault is a data transfer fault between the microprocessor and memory.

    Probably with the optical link and lap top only available to Miele engineers…….

    The micro and memory are on the same board IIRC, go figure 😀
    As Chris said lappy maybe only option or new board 😥

    Just to clarify is it the Rinse LED or Rinse Hold?
    If its Rinse LED is flashing it signifies Drive Failure (Motor). F4 fault.
