Can anyone possibly help with a few pointers? I have the above mentioned dishwasher and it just doesn’t clean anything you put into it.
At first I thought the spray arms were getting caught, so I removed them, cleaned them and the filter but to no avail. I then watched the cycle with the door open, and it appears to fill up with water no problem, but when it comes time to wash the water barely comes out of the bottom spray arm, almost like there is no pressure?
I’m guessing that there must be a problem with the pump… are there any checks I can do? I’m armed with a multimeter but not too sure what sort of readings I should be getting?
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hi
Almost certainly a weak recirculation motor or blockage.
Power off if you are to investigate.

If your circulation pump looks like this:

    little horror, that’s your problem.

Well, after many weekends work, I finally have some time to work on my dishwasher again. I removed it from under the counter, flipped it over and found the circulation pump to be an Askol. What is the best way to remove it and check to see if it is at fault?

    Hi
Don’t bother testing it, just change it. 😉
On its back, base off and you will need 2 clips to secure new motor.
