    hi
This washing mashine was in our house when we moved in 3 years ago so I don’t know how old it is, but it has served us very well up til now.
My OH thinks that the motor has gone – it won’t spin, it sounds like it is revving up waiting to kick in but then it just never happens.

I have emptied the filter part at teh front, and this hasn’t made any difference.

Is there anything else I can try to do or should I call for help now!
I am also unsure if it will be worth fixing, as I said I’m not sure how old the machine is. We have young family so the machine is on most days.

Finally, If I need to get an engineer, where should I look, should it be someone with Siemens expertise? Thanks so much.

Possibly motor carbon brush gear worn out – they are a consumable item. Have a read of this:

Good info. Parts if required are here:

    Power off before touching anything.
