beko wm fault

hi guys.
Beko WMA1512S

customer complained that machine wouldn’t spin and dial would continue to click round until it got to off position without doing anything.
went out ,checked machine.
managed to select a spin program, no motor action.
carbons were completely worn out.replaced carbons, no worries, spins washed ,great stuff.
customer has done one complete wash and then said it is doing exactly the same as before.
select a program and the timer dial just clicks all the way round and does nothing.
any one any ideas before recall?
