    I have a Whirlpool ADG934 Dishwasher.

    It has got power to it, because the green LEDs come on when I select the different wash programs, but it won’t start when I press the START button.

    Does anyone have any ideas please as to what might be wrong?

    Also, is it easy to get to the components behind the front panel, if the reason is a faulty component that I need to replace?

    I hope someone can help.

    Door switch not working (unusual). Does the start light keep flashing, if yes is there a pattern to it (1-2-3-4-pause-repeat for instance)?

    Thanks for your prompt response Penguin45.

    No, the Start light does not flash at all – it doesn’t even come on.

    Does this mean that the door safety switch is not working, as you suggest may be cause of the problem?

    Hmm. The door latch isn’t in the closed position, is it? If the door is closed you can’t programme it.
