ParticipantHi – hope you can help….
I have bought a CD80P tumble dryer off Ebay but there is no instruction manual. I can’t download the manual from the Hotpoint site and there is a charge for them to send me one I think.
I just wondered if anyone knew where I could lay my hands on either a paper or downloadable free version! I’ve never used a condenser dryer before so I don’t want to ruin it. 😳
Hope someone can help.
Many thanks.

The only place you will get one is direct from Hotpoint.

I can’t understand why you cannot download a manual for your Hotpoint tumble dryer. It’s a very simple process! Every conceivable manual is there for free.
It’s the only decent thing about Hotpoint customer relations which are absolute garbage!
I downloaded one for my Hotpoint CTD80 in pdf from the Hotpoint website and printed it off myself, and it is every bit as good as the original manual supplied with the machine.

Please accept my apologies.
There was no charge for manuals when I downloaded mine!
Making a charge for something that costs them nothing sums this crowd up to a tee!
Now you will understand what I mean by their standard of customer service.
I would never recommend them to anybody!
If I knew what to do I would send you a copy of my manual as an attachment, but I wouldn’t know how to go about it, or even if it is possible.

Well as both you and mum2oneplustwins have the same machine perhaps you could explain how to download said instruction booklet?

Please read my post immediately above yours.
I have made an apology!
I must have downloaded mine when my machine was less than a year old, either that or they have moved the goal posts since then!
I am willing to send a copy of this manual in Adobe pdf form if the poster sends me her email address.

It may be that mum2oneplustwins was trying to find a manual for a CD80P, 😉 as a CD80P does not exist she might fing the CTD80 manual from pappyon would suffice. 😀

Still no download listed for it now, and yet some old 9000 series dryers are still available to download. 😕

The Indesit/Hotpoint web site has been recently updated in respect of user manuals. Our ‘Sticky’ thread at the top of this forum has already been amended . 😉
