    Hi,
I am trying to find a (what I believe is) pump housing for an Askoll M95 pump. It’s for my Whirlpool APD W/2 dishwasher, currently in pieces in my kitchen. The rubber hose which appears to be moulded on has split. I’m having real trouble locating one. Any help advice would be very greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Emma

Wow, that was quick! Thank you.

Frankly the idea of Whirlpool (who unsurprisingly manufacture the replacement suggested here) getting another penny of my hard earned grates a bit. Time to through it out and buy a Bosch I reckon?!

    Re: Pump housing?

There are some posts way back where people have improvised their way out of this by hunting out a suitable bit of hose, but it is just that – an improvisation.

Regretably, it is a sign of the times – throw it down the production line as cheaply as possible, accept that a few will fail inside the guarantee period and after that? Who cares? Oh, and charge a packet for the replacement. It’s a shame really, because otherwise, it’s a decent enough machine.

    Good luck,

Hubby and i are just discussing this idea (motor mechanic with a jubilee clip fetish) but I was concerned about it going up in flames at some point if it fails. Do’ya think it would be ok?

By the way the Bosch I’m looking at is the SGS53C12GB. Any idea if these are OK?I have a Bosch washing machine and love it. I will NEVER buy another Hotpoint, total waste of money.

Thanks for all of the advice btw 🙂
