Hotpoint WD440

    Hi

    yet another, on start up it fills normally there is very little motor movement then every so often it bursts into life and does a fast tumble for about 30sec then nothing again for several minutes, the program does not move on. checked the heater element, and carbons both ok no signs on the module, cleaned the edge connectors tryed again no luck, please advise

    more than likely, or could be faulty tacho on motor?

    Sounds very much like a loose /detached tacho magnet.
