I have a very Paitent customer with a Ariston LSI61 dishwasher which will not programme. The power light comes on when switched on but nothing when pressing the P button. The m/c will go into service mode and run through the Long test and short test perfectly OK, when this is finished I can put the m/c back into user mode and then select a programme OK. Ran a rinse programme then nothing again, no flashing lights or anything. It will go back into service mode again if need be but won`t stay in user mode.
I have tried a new PCB, checked wiring loom which seems to be OK, can anybody give me a clue or point me in a direction.

hi, is this an integrated machine? think it is, if so, dont think you can use the P button if it thinks the door is shut, but can set the test prog, any probs with the door catch?, also you may well have tried this, but can you set the prog by pushing the button on the module directly? ive had several where the P button doesnt make a good contact on the module button, hope this may help

So many problems with these are caused by dodgy heaters……

Thanks for the quick reply guys.
I have checked door micro switch which does appear to make and break continuity when the door is open and closed, the m/c does also stop when the door is opened on test programme. The P button does seem to hit every time when on the short test programme and the m/c does heat up to 60c on long test programme, in fact it does everything it should on test programme, fill to level, drain, wash, heat and finishes like a dream. You can then put back in user mode do one wash and then it does not respond. I`ve squeezed the contacts on board to make sure contecting as well. A real head banger!!Regards Oscar
